The Black Book Of Power

Classic Texts on Power.

As a bonus, contained herein also are classical texts on the philosophy of politics, war, and strategy.

Find out how Napoleon and Churchill, Caesar and Hitler, Constantine and Alexander conquered all before them, and how some lost all, including history's favour, and why. Now, the language of the classical texts may seem antiquated and convoluted to our 'sound-bite' oriented times. I am not so presumptuous as to paraphrase genius, however, so you'll have to make the effort to read them.

For the lazy reader, and to make memorizing easier, I have emboldened, italicised and underlined what I consider key points. I say again, don't be put off by the way these classical texts are written. You'll get more out of them than you will any management textbook or political philosophy course.

What is the relevance of these ancient writers to our times? This is a question easily answered.

Just substitute the word 'Company' or 'Market' for State, 'Chief Executive' for Prince or General, 'Middle Management' for Nobles or Officers, and 'Staff' or 'Customers' for Army or Subjects.

One thereby begins to see how these texts would be useful for an ambitious man or woman.

For best results, just read a little at a time. Let each pearl of wisdom dissolve in the vinegar of your intellect before you consume another.

Read on, and grow wise.
