Mysticism.Cosmology. Q: What is that around us? A: Our universe. Q: What is that? A: An emanation of God. Q: What is it made of? A: Vibrations at differing frequencies. Some we can perceive, some we infer, some are unknown. Q: What am I? A: A human being. Q: What is that? A: An emanation of God. The flesh is a prosthesis for the Personality, which in turn is a proxy for a Divine Soul. Q: What should I do? A: The will of God, as explained by Joshua, The Christ. Love God with all your being. Love your neighbour. Love your enemy, especially your enemy. De-energise the evil elementals of desire-thought in your sub-conscious; these are the Seven Deadly Sins. Desire-thoughts harm, as well as words and deeds. They go out from you, attempt to achieve their object, and return with greater force. This is how some people go mad. You are accountable for them. Curb your personality; it is a regent that believes it is the King. The King is your Divine Soul. Evil desires make you tired and irritable; this is a sign that they are not your true path. Worthy thoughts, words and deeds are prompted by the Divine Soul, called the Conscience in this capacity. Q: Why should I? A: So that you may become fit to return to God, the source. Q: When will this happen? A: After an indefinite number of incarnations. Q: How will I know when I am ready? A: When you become a saint. Let's begin... First we begin by quieting down the mind through meditation. This involves:
You acknowlege and then put away your cares; they will have no dominion over you for the next half-hour. Do this once or twice a day, for fifteen minutes to half an hour. Thoughts arise. We may find ourselves solving problems or engaging in pleasant daydreaming or introspection. We acknowledge this, but firmly tend towards a state of either focusing on a single thought, or none at all. The mind will resist, in many subtle ways. It talks to itself. We are not singular beings. If we focus on a single thought or image, it should NOT be an emotive one, such as a religious image. We are trying to put our previous conditioning in its place, not re-inforce it. Such images may give rise to fine feelings, but this is still indulgence. Such images may also corrupt our psyche even more, and lead to worse fixations. Pick something banal and wholesome, like an orange. When not meditating we present our subconscious with IMAGES, not verbal commands, of the rewards of co-operation. By this I mean that our subconscious deals in images, not words. If you want something to happen, you have to picture it, rather than just say it. We contain a part of God; let this smouldering coal be stoked into flame. What we want then occurs. This is the basis of magick. Our will becomes what That which is out there wants; this is black magick. Our imagined needs are fulfilled, and we are the worse for it. We do evil, and have to pay back Dharma in time. We move farther away from God, and when we die we reside in an astral realm entirely suited to our level of goodness. Psychic power should only be used to assist others with their consent. It should not be used to coerce from afar, even if you think "it's for their own good". The person you are coercing may need their current state as a learning experience; who are you to use Divine power to decide the course of their current incarnation? You can certainly pray for the afflicted, but you can't, for example, compel them to be good. They have to learn and want that for themselves. You can protect others from being harmed by them. If you use power to actively harm others, you will reap the consequences. It will rebound on you, in this life, or in incarnations to come, at the limit of what you can take. And that may be quite a bit. Oh, mortal man, your time is so short, why act the delinquent with it? Why, out of pride, and a desire for revenge, corrupt yourself with petty acts of malice? Can you feel it, can you feel the ember of righteous indignation burning in your breast? Please try to quench it, before it becomes a greater and greater part of you. We are, and are contained in, an expression of the Divine. If we harm others, we are harming ourselves. This is not just a glib slogan.
